GrainCorp is currently seeking a permanent Maintenance Electrician based at our site in Yamala. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, with responsibility for undertaking electrical maintenance, repairs, validation, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management. This role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm, with opportunities for paid overtime as required. You'll also benefit from a rostered day off once per month. Due to the operational demands of the business, availability to work during the harvest season is essential.

 

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
 

  • Fault finding and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Attending sites where equipment failure or breakdowns impact operations
  • Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as required
  • Accurate record keeping to support compliance and safety standards


About your experience
Candidates will be looking for a role that allows them the opportunity to work outdoors at varying locations with a large degree of autonomy! 

This role willl appeal to a qualified Electrician who enjoys working independently across varying locations and taking ownership of their work. You will have proven, hands-on electrical capabilities and be proactive and safety focused. Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable, you’ll have solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication. 

The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required. A HR licence would be preferred, but not essential.
