About the role
Based at our West Footscray site we are looking for a Team Leader on a fixed term contract for approximately 7 mths. Responsibilities for this role include;
- Adhering to Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Records/assists with updating Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures as required
- Managing AGV’s and work on improvements
- Supporting the Manager
- Assisting team leaders with daily truck load planning – preparing loads
- Managing and fixing errors in SAP, and coordinating with Planning/Customer service
- Working with manufacturing with regards to errors in data
- Meeting DIFOT
- Adding work notification for maintenance as required
- Regular stock checks of all warehouse storage locations
Your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with previous experience in a similar role. Other key skills and experiences we value highly are;
- Forklift licence
- Demonstrated technical ability
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing systems and logistics
- Good computer skills / knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible working hours
- Good time management
- Able to identify, analyse and solve problems
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Software and systems knowledge – SAP (Scan to truck errors, SOH reporting etc), Planning tools, NDC, CWay, and any other software or systems technology processes.
