GrainCorp is currently seeking a Refinery Operator to operate an automated and modern plant control system to produce quality oil, in specification to meet our customer’s delivery requirements.

This role contributes by:
 

• Operating automated control systems
• Accountable for trouble-shoot operational issues
• Assist with reliability investigations
• Please note the role requires the ability to work on a rotating shift (Day/Night)

About your experience

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

Candidates will also display: 
 

• Previous Refinery experience (highly desirable) 
• A Trade Certificate (eg Mechanical Fitting or Electrical) or other relevant qualification is highly desirable
• Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (SAP is an advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Forklift licence is highly desirable
