About our team

As an Australian regional Canola seed crusher and oil refiner we support the local oilseed industry with a range of Canola oil and Canola meal for local and international markets. We provide the components for cooking oil, spreads and shortening, prepared foods, meal for dairy, poultry and livestock, cosmetics and lubricants, fuels and other industrial applications. 

We source oilseeds from growers and accumulators in Australia to crush and create products, including crude degummed oil, refined bleached oils and Canola meal, a by-product of oilseed crush which is used for animal feed

About the role

Due to an internal promotion, GrainCorp is currently seeking a Logistics Planner to safely and efficiently supervise the day to day planning of GrainCorp Foods and Oilseeds within budgeted costs, legislative compliance and food safety and quality standards. The role will see you demonstrate and maintain company values that are committed to;

About your experience

Candidates will have prior planning experience gained in logistics and transport with a sound knowledge of current, and emerging, industry best practices. Candidates will also demonstrate;

•    Experience with multi-site coordination
•    Computer literacy with intermediate knowledge in Microsoft applications
•    Strong communication and leadership skills
•    SAP experience 
•    Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team
•    A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail
•    Successful track record in managing customer/supplier relationships
•    Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Strong time management skills, able to prioritise, meet deadlines whilst working under pressure

Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
