About the role
We're seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our GrainCorp Foods business. This role is based at our West Footscray office and offered on a hybrid work pattern. The role reports to and partners closely with the Human Nutrition Business Manager to deliver exceptional value creation, growth, project management and innovation across food based customers. The role has a 80/20 split between account management and new customer relationships. Key responsibilities of this role include
 

Specifically, you’ll:
 

  • Build strong relationships with key customers.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that deliver growth and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers to capture and support business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities of new and existing accounts to maximize sales targets
  • Report on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present reports on account performance and insights to drive NPD pipelines


About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with solid experience within a similar industry and role. Previous sales and account management experience is a must.  You will have the following attributes:
 

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Presentation skills to deliver B2B plans, reports, and reviews
  • Communication skills to liaise internally and externally with senior management
  • Experience in managing large business to business account relationships
  • Computer literacy in CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Accurate data management and numerical ability
  • Flexibility and willingess to undertake travel intra/interstate on an infrequent basis.
