About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the GrainCorp Human Resources team and be part of a dynamic and value-adding group of professionals who strive to build a fantastic employee experience by partnering with, and coaching leaders. As a valued part of the People & Culture team, you will support delivery of a high-impact employee experience that drives performance outcomes aligned to business strategy. 

Based in West Footscray (with a flexible hybrid working arrangement), you will work across a diverse portfolio that includes both Animal Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Agri-Energy Operations spanning across Australia. 

In this dynamic position, you will be able to leverage your broad experience across all areas of HR to effectively partner with one of our key business units. Through your demonstratable strengths in strategic and operational HR, you will work with stakeholders to strengthen culture, build capability and enhance performance across the organisation. 

In addition to day-to-day activity, you will to contribute to delivery of a variety of initiatives spanning leadership development, coaching, remuneration, workforce planning — all designed to strengthen culture and performance. 

 

  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide considered & fit for purpose advice
  • Provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enables leaders to effectively deliver outcomes
  • Challenging leaders and conceptual problem solving together using a data informed approach
  • Deliver key initiatives in line with the people calendar including the remuneration review, talent reviews and drive employee experience programs
  • Manage within policies and guidelines and ‘own’ these within portfolio
  • Participate in change leadership in an energetic and agile way as required

About your experience
You will bring experience as a commercial and pragmatic HR Business Partner within an industrialised environment with Enterprise Agreements to oversee.  
 

  • IR experience (negotiating EAs)
  • Demonstrated HRBP experience
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Commercial experience (ie. worked in commercial enterprise)
  • Demonstrated experience in HR strategic thinking and delivery of strategic HR projects and initiatives
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Regular travel in Victoria required as well as some interstate travel
