About the role
- Opportunity to earn a rate of up to $52.62 per hour and additional earnings with overtime hours
- 76 Hrs a fortnight - Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor we’re seeking a permanent Maintenance Mechanic to join the team based from our Werris Creek workshop, with responsibility for servicing, preventative maintenance and breakdown management of various diesel-based mobile equipment including front-end loaders, tractors, Bobcats, generators as well as some fixed equipment. Whilst most of your work will be workshop-based, some travel in the region may be required to undertake repairs and servicing on-site.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
- Vehicle and equipment diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs
- Engine, steering, transmission and braking systems repair, replacement and checks
- Preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Maintenance of parts inventory and workshop cleanliness
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has a relevant trade certificate in diesel or automotive mechanics. You will have proven fault-finding capabilities and be proactive and safety focused. Computer literate, self-motivated and reliable, you’ll have solid time management abilities and a high standard of communication.
The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces is required. A HR licence would be preferred, but not essential.
