Grain Marketer - Perth CBD

About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Grain Marketer to be based at our offices in the Perth CBD, the role will be responsible procurement of grain and all associated contract management, the role will also entail:

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers and end-users.
  • Communicate market and production intelligence through to the trading team
  • Be the face of GrainCorp by organising and attending grower meetings and relevant industry events (local travel required)
     
About your experience

Candidate will have prior experience in the agricultural industry as a Grain marketer, and will have a strong understanding of the grain industry and market drivers. Candidates skills should also include:
 

  • Experience reporting on crops, seasonal conditions, competition, production estimates and other industry information.
  • Maintain production forecasting throughout the growing year.
  • Sound understanding of domestic grain flows and crop rotations
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and interact with key industry stakeholders


Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
