About the role
We’re seeking a Grain Protection (Pest Control) Officer to join our Grain Protection team, based from our Warracknabeal site.

You’ll report to the Grain Protection Supervisor and travel to sites in the region supporting our Pest Control Officers to carry out a wide range of pest control and fumigation procedures that ensure our grain is maintained and moved free of insect infestation. 

You’ll also undertake activities related to general hygiene and cleanliness of our facilities, to a high standard.


About your experience
This position is a great starting point and learning platform in a rewarding technical trade. Applicants with experience in general labouring work, trades and services, building and construction or transport and logistics would be suited to this work, though we are open-minded to a range of experiences. You ideally have an unrestricted driver’s licence (provisional licence will also be considered). 

The willingness to travel and be away from home for short periods at a time is essential.

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
