About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Truck Driver to join our Wagga Wagga team. If you enjoy active, physical work, operating machinery and having variety in your day – this is a great opportunity.

In this role you will be responsible for transporting grain handling equipment between sites across the region, including loaders, stackers and generators. You’ll also assist with onsite operational tasks and equipment movements.

This is not a long‑haul role- you’ll have regular hands-on work and occasional overnight travel.

GrainCorp will support you in gaining your Vehicle Loading Crane and Forklift licences if you don’t already hold them, and the base location is flexible for the right person.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Transport and relocate loaders, stackers and grain handling equipment
  • Deliver and collect generators for servicing
  • Operate a vehicle loading crane (training and licence support provided)
  • Forklift operation (forklift licence can be obtained with our support)
  • Safely load, secure and unload machinery and equipment
  • Conduct daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
  • Use electronic logbooks (Log Master) and GPS‑tracked vehicles
  • Work across multiple sites with varied access and safety requirements

About your experience

Essential:

  • HC licence with solid driving and safety history
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands on tasks
  • Strong load restraint skills
  • Positive, proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to work safely, independently and in a small team

 

Highly regarded:

  • MC licence
  • Mechanical aptitude and equipment‑care focused
  • Dogman/Rigger ticket
  • Heavy haulage experience
  • Experience operating Hiab or vehicle loading cranes
  • Basic Fatigue Management
