GrainCorp Feeds is a national animal feed business, based in Hamilton NZ, dealing directly with corporate and farming customers across New Zealand. GrainCorp Feeds offers a comprehensive range of high quality liquid and dry dairy and calf feeds suitable for a variety of feeding systems and developed to improve on-farm production, reproduction, performance and profitability. About the role

Located at our growing site in Timaru, we are seeking a Store Supervisor to operate and manage a small team. You will be running the site; managing receivable documents, actioning tool box talks and ensuring schedules are met and truck weights are recorded correctly.  Due to the current size of this site we are also looking for the successful candidate to be hands on - other key responsibilites will include; packing, receivals, storage and outload activities.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate has both operational and front-line supervisory experience in the feeds industry or in a similar bulk handling / warehousing / logistics operation. A deep commitment for customer, quality and safety is essential.

We’re also seeking the following attributes:

  • Comfortable with change, pressure, autonomy
  • Confident, articulate and collaborative written and oral communication skills / style
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, systems and software
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and solutions-focused
  • Flexibility to work Mon-Fri, 6 am to 5pm + reasonable additional hours and days
  • W endorsement for wheels, and forklift endorsement (F + OSH).

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical - this includes drug testing.
