GrainCorp Feeds offers a comprehensive range of high-quality liquid and dry dairy and calf feeds suitable for a variety of feeding systems and developed to improve on-farm production, reproduction, performance and profitability.
Based at our Timaru Feed Store site, we are seeking a Store Operator to join our small, but close-knit team.
This is a full-time position where your core hours of work will be between 6am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. During August through to February we work extended hours to support our customers. These hours are rostered - flexibility with working hours is a requirement during this period.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Mixing and loading Bulk Blends
- Front End Loader Operation
- Forklift Operation
- Bagging and pallet stacking
- Some Office and paperwork
About your experience
- The successful candidate will hold a current forklift licence with F and W endorsement and experience working in a warehousing / logistics role. Experience with Front End Loaders preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills, ability to follow direction, work collaboratively and autonomously is also required.
- You should be capable of lifting up to 25kg in weight and have a solid understanding of safety standards.
