Our Agri Energy business in Australian and New Zealand is the largest exporters of Renewable Fuel Feedstocks, ie Tallow and Used Cooking Oil. Meanwhile, our Animal Nutrition businesses uses vegetable oils and molasses-based products to boost farm productivity.
This role contributes to our journey by working closely with internal stakeholders, shipping lines, transport providers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure accurate execution, timely communication and operational excellence across all shipment activities.
We are seeking an organised and proactive Shipping Coordinator – Container to join our team in a key administrative role focused on the end-to-end coordination and execution of containerised shipments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across both international and domestic supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export container movements from origin through to final destination
- Liaise with shipping lines, transport operators and freight forwarders to ensure seamless shipment execution and accurate information flow
- Manage the end-to-end import supply chain process, from purchase order through to cash settlement
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure timely container collection and returns
- Utilise BSM systems to execute and manage import and export supply chain transactions
- Manage contracts and inventory within SAP for internal customers
- Support export documentation processes during peak operational periods
- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations and timelines are met
- Coordinate with Finance teams regarding freight costs, local charges and document release requirements
- Respond promptly to customer and supplier queries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information across internal systems
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities during peak shipping periods and operational disruptions
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, import/export or supply chain coordination
- Strong understanding of containerised freight movements and shipping documentation
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport providers
- Exposure to SAP and/or supply chain management systems
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
