About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join us for the next six months (and possibly longer depending on operational demands relating to our annual east coast harvest). Specifically, you will:

  • Provide accurate, compliant, efficient and timely payroll services across your portfolio (to be determined)
  • Provide accurate and professional advice to HR, managers and employees on a range of payroll related queries
  • Develop strong relationships and provide support to payroll colleagues, HR, Finance and business areas.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate has significant payroll experience gained in a large, corporate environment as well as:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll-related legislation, eg. payroll tax, superannuation
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience interpreting Australian Awards and EBAs
  • Excellent payroll systems experience in SAP and Kronos (or similar time-and-attendance system) + Advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication, time management, collaboration and relationship management skills
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly at times to meet pay cycle deadlines.

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check, credit and bankruptcy check.
