About our team

As the largest grain storage and handling network on the east coast of Australia, we operate more than 150 regional receival sites and seven bulk port terminals. We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end-market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries. About the role

GrainCorp is looking for a Customer Service Advisor (Demand Planning) for a 12 month contract opportunity, based at our Sydney office. This is an opportunity that is open to graduates and the responsibilities will include:

  • Accountable for customer relations and customer demand planning
  • Responsible for auditing customer planning processes and transactions 
  • Managing the timely and responsive communication with customers on their order fulfilments
  • Communicate inventory reconciliations, supply chain performance and demand planning accuracy to customers


About your experience

Candidates will have a desire to learn about bulk supply chain industries and grain handling operations. Candidates will also display:


  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, agriculture or a related commercial based discipline
  • Experience in customer management and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders
  • To act with a high level of integrity, trust, openness and honesty

Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
