Salary: $170,000 - $180,000 incl. Super + bonus

GrainCorp is seeking a Category Manager to join our Procurement team.
This role will initially focus on indirect spend categories, with exposure over time to additional categories as business priorities evolve.
You’ll have end-to-end ownership of your categories, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver value, manage risk and ensure continuity of supply across a diverse and dynamic portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning and shaping your categories from strategy through to execution
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical, commercial solutions
- Leading sourcing activities, tenders and supplier negotiations
- Managing contracts to ensure value, compliance and continuity of supply
- Building strong supplier relationships and driving performance
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and innovation
- Providing clear market insights and commercial advice
- Supporting broader procurement initiatives and stepping into new categories as opportunities arise
