As the largest grain storage and handling network on the east coast of Australia, we operate more than 150 regional receival sites and seven bulk port terminals. We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end-market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries. About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst with SAP experience, based at our Sydney office, to Provide application support, continuous improvement to maintain business applications. The responsibilities of the role will include:

 

  • Support resolution of IT service management incidents, problems, service requests and enhancements
  • coordinate the continual upgrading of Applications - application life cycle management
  • Involvement with business strategic initiatives/programs of work to continuously improve on the timely and cost-effective delivery of system enhancements
  • Involvement in system testing, training, user acceptance and validation testing of solutions and production changes and upgrades to applications and systems
     

About your experience

Candidates will have prior application management experience with the ability to translate business needs into solutions. Candidates will also display: 

  • Knowledge of SAP modules (ECC/WM/PM/QM)
  • Tertiary qualified in Business Management or Computer Science
  • Vendor management experience
  • Ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees 
  • An understanding of all aspects of system/software development lifecycles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal


In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check.
