About the role

We are seeking a talented SAP FICO Business Systems Analyst to support our Finance department by providing SAP system application support. In this role, you will be managing service and enhancement requests based on agreed priorities for the business whilst also providing application crisis management to restore key business applications when required. Other key responsibilities include working with developers and external vendors to provide efficient solutions to meet business needs whilst coordinating system unit testing, training and user acceptance testing of proposed solutions and production changes.

About your experience

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who is motivated to deliver quality outcomes to internal stakeholders whilst acting with a high degree of initiative and ownership around solving complex problems. It goes without saying that excellent written and verbal communication while sound planning and prioritisation skills will be critical to your success in addition to;

  • Proven in-depth configuration experience of FI and CO modules
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Commerce, IT, Finance or another related subject
  • Experience with service management tools and Level 2 Support processes.
  • Strong ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Outstanding ability to understand, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions. 
  • Conceptual problem solving, analysis and design ability.
  • Ability to take a broad view of many applications and business processes
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to self-start and work without supervision
  • Strong ability in establishing and achieving objectives with changing and often conflicting priorities
  • Strong customer service focus
