About the role

This is a permanent position working in a thriving, essential service agribusiness. We offer flexibility and balance in regard to working from home and office based work. This role has an incentive program for individuals achieving their KPI's.
 

Joining a team of 7 collaborative and experienced Business Analysts, you will provide application support within either our Supply Chain or Finance and Risk teams. Continuous improvement and delivering upgrades and projects to maintain SAP business applications & associated solutions is all part of this role. As part of the team you will continuously improve and drive consistent practices, processes, procedures, governance and standards to ensure applications support consistency across the business.

Other key responsibilities include working with developers and external vendors to provide efficient solutions to meet business needs whilst coordinating system unit testing, training and user acceptance testing of proposed solutions and production changes.

About your experience

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who is motivated to deliver quality outcomes to internal stakeholders whilst acting with a high degree of initiative and ownership around solving complex problems. It goes without saying that excellent written and verbal communication with sound planning and prioritisation skills will be critical to your success .

Other key attributes we are looking for are: 
 

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Commerce, IT, Finance or another related subject
  • Experience working in a Supply Chain or Logistics focussed business
  • Previous experience in SD module in SAP
  • Exposure to Trading/Commodity and Risk Management systems
  • Experience with service management tools and Level 2 Support processes.
  • Strong ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation
  • Outstanding ability to understand, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions. 
  • Conceptual problem solving, analysis and design ability.
  • Ability to take a broad view of many applications and business processes
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and ability to self-start and work without supervision
  • Strong ability in establishing and achieving objectives with changing and often conflicting priorities
  • Strong customer service focus
