About the role

Based from anywhere in Australian or Singapore, and reporting to the Head of Trade Execution, we’re seeking 2 x Bulk Export Coordinators to work with us until the end of March 2022, managing the execution of bulk grain contracts. 

Specifically, you will:

  • Execute bulk grain contracts from point of export to point of import
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including traders, packers, brokers / forwarders / shipping lines, etc.
  • Manage day to day tasks such as planning, shipping, invoicing, presenting documents and monitoring payments from the export or purchase point to the import or sales point
  • Ensure compliance with all export and import requirements as well as with the company’s corporate policies.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate has bulk execution experience in a similar role within grains or related commodities such as palm oil, rice, sugar, fertiliser, metals, etc. You should have sound knowledge of the standard contracts which apply to your industry. You should also have a sound knowledge of Incoterms, payment instruments and importing / exporting regulations.

Due to the nature of shipping operations, flexibility and availability outside of standard working hours is required, including some weekends.

Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
