As the Site Manager of our Quambatook grain storage and distribution facility, you’ll lead a team of Grain Handlers to ensure the safe, efficient receival, storage, and outload of commodities. This hands-on leadership role offers variety, autonomy, and a strong connection to both the land and local community. Quambatook is a town that proudly wears its agricultural heritage - from wheat and sheep to its iconic community tractor pulls! It also boasts a rich arts and cultural connection, celebrated through music, performance, and local history.

In this role you will:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team members
- Get to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processes
- Develop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community
- Coordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services
- Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards
- Manage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management
About your experience
You'll succeed in this role if you've had experience in plant operations (ideally the Grain industry) and:
- Experience supervising, supporting and developing workgroups / individuals
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
- Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Current unrestricted driver licence and basic IT literacy
