About the role

As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a high performing team of tradespeople and contractors- guiding, coaching and inspiring them to deliver safe, reliable and efficient operations across our sites. This is an opportunity to combine hands on technical knowledge with big picture thinking, all while driving continuous improvement in an environment that values innovation, safety and teamwork.

Specifically, the role entails:

Preventative and planned maintenance (PPM): setting schedules, monitoring progress, reporting on performance and ensuring work is completed on time and to standard
Maintenance: manage open work orders to completion; prioritise activities and balancing labour and budget
Breakdowns: manage response to breakdowns, especially those impacting service levels; resource allocation; records management; fatigue management during critical breakdown repairs; ensuring critical parts are on hand
Budget: ensure maintenance spend in line with budget; support for maintenance labour spend; escalate high cost repairs to Maintenance Manager
Continuous improvement: building a culture where every team member looks for smarter, safer and more efficient ways of working

About you
Our ideal candidate holds a trade certificate in a relevant discipline such as Electrical, Fitting / Machining, or Boiler-making, and brings both technical capability and confident leadership to an industrial environment. You will also thrive in this role if you demonstrate:

Proven experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities (SAP or MEX experience will be highly regarded)
Confidence in supervising teams operating under an enterprise agreement
A solid understanding of maintenance budget management and cost control
A strong commitment to safety, coupled with a genuine passion for continuous improvement
