About the role

This position will support the Numurkah site by ensuring effective parts and materials procurement, inventory control and overall stores management. Ensuring that inventory management is effective and optimized with procedures updated to create a best in class Engineering Stores environment.

In addition, you will perform a range of administrative duties to support the Engineering and Maintenance Team, ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system (SAP) is utilized and maintained fully to gain all available benefits from such.

About your experience

The successful candidate will have solid previous experience in a stores and/or procurement specialist role - ideallu in  an industrial or engineering environment. Other key skills required are:

  • Knowledge of industrial consumables and/or a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) sector
  • Demonstrated high-level experience in the use of SAP
  • Advanced computer skills particularly the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the business
  • Demonstrated commitment to effective customer service
  • Forklift Licence
