About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Quality Manager to be based at out Numurkah Site. The role will be responsible for the overall food safety and quality accountability for all oilseeds and foods operations across crushing, refining, processing, and site-based storage and distribution. The responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensure site Quality Assurance & Food Safety systems are maintained
  • Support the Operations Manager/s in site wide continuous improvement programs
  • Own the site change management process, ensuring product safety, legality and quality is always maintained.
  • Analyse the supply chain network to identify optimum supply locations based on seed quality

Please note: The role will require some local and interstate travel.

About your experience

Candidates will have prior experience in food quality in a similar role, with an understanding of factory production. Candidates will also display:

  • Sound knowledge of current, and emerging, industry best practices in food safety
  • Staff management experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement.
  • An understanding of Canola will be highly beneficial

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical. A driver licence is also required
