About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking an Operations Assistant at our Numurkah site to support the Maintenance, Engineering and Manufacturing teams in the delivery their operational targets. The responsibilities of the role will include: 

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the site to meet GMP targets
  • Manage stormwater levels and trade waste systems
  • Take a ‘hands-on’ style and apply experience/skills in a best practice approach to plant operations including quality, the environment and asset management

About your experience

Candidates will have prior experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment with a good understanding of health and safety. Candidates will also display:

  • Experience with system controls and documentation such as activity and equipment records
  • Quality and inventory control 
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability
  • Valid drivers and forklift license

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
Please note the role will require lifting of objects up to 20kgs.
