About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking an experienced CI and Process Engineering Manager to work at our state of the art Numurkah plant to manage process optimisation and drive operating efficiency. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Manage a team of site-based process engineers
- Lead improvements through identification and resolution of inefficiencies, and deployment of continuous improvement methodologies across the site
- Together with the engagement of all site teams identify / reduce waste, losses, variation to improved performance with a focus on improving our overall competitiveness
- This role will also support our Pinjarra site as well as any future facilities
About your experience
Candidates will ideally demonstrate a background in industrial or food manufacturing with a tertiary qualification in either Chemical or Mechancial Engineering being preferred. Candidates will also display:
- Specialisation in process engineering including unit operations, process design and improvement as well as advanced analytics techniques
- Knowledge of process safety management requirements
- CI processes such as Lean / Six Sigma.
- Project experience including process design and specification, commissioning, and start up
