About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a CI & Process Engineer, based at our site in Numurkah, to Lead improvements through identification and resolution of inefficiencies, and deployment of continuous improvement methodologies across the site. The responsibilities of the role will also include:

  • Identify and reduce waste, losses, variation to improved performance with a focus on improving our overall competitiveness
  • Manage the implementation of the Lean Maturity Improvement Plan
  • Project Manage (PM) assigned capital expenditure projects from inception to implementation
  • Optimise the utilisation of the site assets
  • Staff management of a team of Process Engineers 
About your experience

Candidates will have a relevant Engineering qualification with experience in an industrial or food manufacturing environment. Candidate will also display:

  • An expertise in CI and Lean methodologies with Demonstrated experience in the use of Lean tools
  • SAP or related ERP system experience
  • People and operations leadership experience
  • Experience with control elements of PLC and SCADA systems 

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
