About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter, based at our Moura site. To ensure that the site maintenance is completed according to maintenance plans. Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor you will form part a team involved in daily activities such as repairs, installations and attending to breakdowns on fixed plant equipment. 

About your experience

To be successful in this Maintenance Fitter position you will ideally be a fully qualified Fitter (other trades may be considered) with experience in a manufacturing, agricultural or FMCG environment.  You will have experience with material handling equipment including conveyors, elevators, pneumatics and hydraulics. 

Nice to have: 

  • Have a general knowledge of computerized maintenance programs such as SAP
  • Licences for Forklift, Front End Loader and EWP 

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
