About the role


Based from our Kyiv offices and reporting to the Head of Trade Execution, GrainCorp is seeking a new team member to join us as a Senior Trade Execution Coordinator. The role is responsible for managing the execution of grain contracts for both bulk and container shipping.

Specifically, you will:
 

  • Execute national and international bulk and container contracts from point of export to point of import
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including traders, charterers, brokers / forwarders / shipping lines, etc.
  • Manage day to day tasks such as planning, shipping, invoicing, presenting documents and monitoring payments from the export or purchase point to the import or sales point
  • Ensure compliance with all export and import requirements as well as with the company’s corporate policies.

About your experience


Our ideal candidate has solid bulk execution experience in a similar role within the grains industry. You must have knowledge of grain contracts.

You should also have:
 

  • Sound knowledge of Incoterms
  • Knowledge of payment instruments, letters of credit essential
  • Knowledge of charter parties essential including laytime calculations
  • Knowledge of importing / exporting regulations
  • Fluency in written and spoken English


Due to the nature of shipping operations, flexibility and availability outside of standard working hours is required, including some weekends.

Preferred candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
