About the role
In this role you will report to the Technical Manager of Animal Nutrition and provide nutritional and technical support to GrainCorp’s Animal Nutrition business, including 7 production plants from Northern Qld to Victoria and a customer base across the East Coast of Australia and SA. The key responsibilities of the role include;
- Formulate feedlot supplement requests from third party consulting nutritionists, to quote new customers or update existing customers.
- Nutrition support for sales team, including ration or feed formulations for Ration Assist and Pasture Assist customers.
- Support product formulation creation and updating.
- Support transactional system and database maintenance, including raw material and finished product updates.
- Support R&D and NPD activities with technical advice.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the nutritional advice providers
About your experience
Our successful applicant will come to us with previous experience and knowledge in Animal Nutrition. Other key skills we are looking for are;
- Understanding of Animal Feed Formulation
- Experience in the agricultural industry
- Strong communication, time management, high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Customer and stakeholder management skills.
