About the role

GrainCorp is currently seeking a Site Supervisor to assist with the day to day running of the Coleambally and Grong Grong sites including staff rostering, the supervision of the team as well as the management of harvest casuals. During our Harvest season you will be required to manage our Coleambally site. Outside of Harvest, you will supervisor any sites within the cluster that require additional support, such as Grong Grong. The responsibilities of the role will include:
 

  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, policies and procedures
  • Drive zero harm safety culture
  • Provide day-to-day operational site management in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships, specifically with Logistics and customers; and maintain awareness of local priorities and issues.
  • Please note this role will require work at other sites in the cluster

 

About your experience

Candidates will have prior hands-on experience in a supervisory role gained within agriculture, maintenance, mining, rail or similar. Candidates will also display:
 

  • A good working knowledge of OH&S is preferred. 
  • Basic computing skills are required to work in our systems.
  • Licences or certifications such as loader, skid-steer, H or M class licence and/or first aid would be advantageous. 
  • The role will also require the ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
