Grain Handler - Donald - FTC 12 months

About the role
We are currently seeking a Grain Handler for an immediate start at our site in Donald, VIC (working at other nearby sites as required) on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The core activities of a grain handler include:
 

• Sampling/receiving grain at site (spearing using automatic or manual spears and then testing for protein, moisture and contaminants against specifications, entering data into our system)
• Monitoring the flow of grain from truck unloading and onto hopper, auger or other equipment
• Protecting and storing grain in bunkers or permanent silo storage (includes building, breaking-down and tarping bunkers)
• Sweeping, shovelling, blowing down dust and other general housekeeping activities including site presentation
• Operating equipment including augers, tractors, hoppers, loaders.

About your experience
Candidates will have prior experience in grain handling or general labouring. A current drivers licence is an essential requirement, other licences such as front end loader ticket will be advantageous. Candidates will also display:
