About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Site Supervisor, based at our Barellan site to assist with the day to day running of the site including staff rostering, the supervision of the team as well as the management of harvest casuals. The responsibilities of the role will include:
 

  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems, policies and procedures
  • Drive zero harm safety culture
  • Provide day-to-day operational site management in an efficient, safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships, specifically with Logistics and customers; and maintain awareness of local priorities and issues.


About your Experience
Candidates will have prior hands-on experience in a supervisory role gained within agriculture, maintenance, mining, rail or similar. Candidates will also display:
 

  • A good working knowledge of OH&S is preferred. 
  • Basic computing skills are required to work in our systems.
  • Licences or certifications such as loader, skid-steer, H or M class licence and/or first aid would be advantageous. 
  • The role will also require the ability to work at heights and confined spaces.
