About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Professional to join the GrainCorp Human Resources team and contributing to a dynamic, value-driven community that is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience by collaborating with and coaching leaders.
 

Reporting to the General Manager of Human Resources, this role is based at the International Towers on Barangaroo’s harbour foreshore. The location is one of Australia’s most forward-thinking workspaces, situated within one of the world’s most sustainable commercial precincts. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement. You will have the autonomy to deliver impactful people and culture outcomes across a portfolio that includes both corporate (C-suite and senior leaders) and enterprise employees.


In this position you will drive a number of diverse initiatives including; leadership development and coaching. You will be accountable for;
 

  • A strategically aligned people plan to drive outcomes aligned to business objectives
  • Coaching leaders to build leadership capability enabling the delivery of consistent team experiences
  • Embedding of GrainCorp Values across all activity and reinforcing them as a driver for decision making
  • Talent activation including the deployment of development/learning initiatives and development planning
  • Providing expert advice on ER and people matters, leading investigations as required
  • Partnering with leaders to deliver enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
  • Embedding key people related programs, activities, and benefits aligned to the people plan
  • Leveraging analytics to identify insights that inform data driven people decisions, trends and recommendations


About your experience
You will bring a wealth of experience as a commercial and pragmatic Senior HR Business Partner, with a proven track record of delivering effective HR solutions in dynamic business environments. You will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving workplace and is comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change.
 

Key skills and experiences we are looking include;
 

  • Demonstrated HRBP Experience: A strong background in working as a Senior HR Business Partner, with a proven record partnering Corporate functions, with hands-on experience supporting business leaders in the development and execution of HR strategies that align with organisational goals
  • Autonomous Work Style: A self-starter who can manage priorities and make decisions independently, while maintaining focus on driving business results and fostering a positive employee experience
  • Commercial Experience: Proven experience within a commercial enterprise, with a deep understanding of business operations and how HR can effectively contribute to business success
  • Strategic HR Thinking & Delivery: Expertise in HR strategy development and the ability to execute complex HR projects and initiatives that align with the long-term goals of the business. You are adept at shaping HR solutions that add measurable value
  • Adaptability to Change: Comfortable in situations of uncertainty, you can successfully navigate change and provide HR leadership during periods of transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining employee engagement
  • This role demands someone who can think strategically, operate independently, and work seamlessly across all levels of the organization to drive people and business success
