About the role: 
This role is based out of the International Towers on the harbour foreshore of Barangaroo at one of Australia’s most progressive workspaces and one of the world’s most sustainable commercial precincts. Hybrid working arrangements are available and offered on 2 days in the office (Tuesday & Wednesday) and 3 days at home.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Developer who will report through to Digital Architecture and Technical Manager to assist in the design and lead the development team in the development of our customer web application as a full stack developer using Angular, Node.js and HANA DB across an on-premise deployment and on the SAP BTP platform. This role will see you provide support and assistance to ensure the operational environment runs smoothly, addressing issues as they arise and assisting customer support team when needed. Key responsibilities of this position include; 

• Design and Develop web application as a full stack developer using Angular, Node.js and HANA DB
• Provide operational support
• Participate and embrace the customer service and team culture in IT
• Work collaboratively with digital team - project/product managers, architects, business analysts, UX and UI designers, front and back end developers, testers
• Interact with business representatives to ensure that solutions developed meet business requirements

Your experience
Our successful candidate will be able to contribute to technical and UX/UI design activities and provide technical input into requirements gathering whilst also supporting the delivery of application components according to specifications and providing support as required. Other key skills and experience we are looking for are;

• Expertise in Angular with effective management of its framework and associated libraries and a solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript for creating dynamic user interfaces
• Expertise in Node.js – Ability to build scalable backend applications using Node.js and RESTful APIs (oData)
• A strong understanding of SQL databases, able to design, implement, and optimize structured data solutions
• Familiarity with GitHub and CICD and build tools: Jenkins, Gulp, Angular CLI, Node.js, npm for managing code repositories and collaborating with teams
• Experience in building applications from UX/UI Design systems and tools, such as Figma
• Testing & Debugging – Experience in unit testing frameworks to ensure code reliability
• Technical documentation providing API, technical process and design documentation
