We’re seeking a Senior Analyst, Special Projects to join our Corporate Strategy & Development team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work alongside colleagues in M&A, investor relations, and corporate ventures on some of GrainCorp’s most forward-looking priorities—particularly in the agri-energy space. 

You’ll be based at International Towers Barangaroo, one of Australia’s most sustainable and award-winning workplaces, with the flexibility of 3 days in-office and 2 days working from home.

This role will lead the identification, analysis, and execution of strategic growth and portfolio optimisation opportunities. You’ll manage multiple high-value projects, support robust investment decisions with sophisticated financial and commercial modelling, and produce strategic outputs that directly influence executive-level decisions. You’ll also lead two direct reports, providing a valuable opportunity to mentor and develop internal talent.


Your experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in structured problem solving and high-quality commercial analysis
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills (Word and PowerPoint)
  • A track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Industry experience in agriculture, energy, or related sectors
