About the role
GrainCorp is currently seeking a Project Finance Manager to support a large System Transformation Program. This role will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure robust financial governance, deliver timely and insightful reporting, and serve as a trusted business partner to key program, finance, and business leadership. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing the full financial lifecycle of the program, from budget setting to post-implementation review
- Partnering with executive stakeholders, including the Program Director and CFO, to provide financial insights and drive decision-making
- Ensuring financial governance, compliance, and risk management
- Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to key stakeholders
- Overseeing project cost management, asset capitalisation, and investment appraisal
About your experience
Candidates will have project finance experience, ideally having worked on several major IT programs. Candidates will also display:
- Strong Finance Business Partnering and Financial Analysis skills
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial governance
- Experience managing financials within Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be beneficial
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
