About the role
In this 12 month fixed-term role, reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be a valued finance partner for commercial business stakeholders as well as providing support on budgets, monthly financial results, analytical insight to support business initiatives, projects and strategy predominately in the Animal Nutrition portfolio. The day-to-day role includes:
- Being a trusted partner and advisor with the business commercial and operation teams
- Responsible for the delivery of relevant and timely performance reports that support business decision-making, including monthly P&Ls, performance reconciliations, and key business metrics
- Responsible for relevant business unit balance sheet and working capital budget/forecast, analysis and reporting, actuals, budgets and forecast
- Responsible for EOM Day 3 and 5 flash results, and all relevant EOM commentary
- Support the overall delivery and compilation of the annual budget for your relevant business areas, including assumptions, earnings, capital, cash flow etc.
- Support continuous improvement in overall GNE underlying planning and reporting systems and supporting processes to enhance visibility, accuracy, and consistency of reportable data for key decision-making.
About your experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role
- Chartered accountant or CPA qualification essential
- Proven senior stakeholder experience in a large, complex organisation
