About the role
- Salary up to $90,000 including super
- 9 mth contract on offer
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer on contract for approximately 9 mths.
This role is based out of the International Towers on the harbour foreshore of Barangaroo at one of Australia’s most progressive workspaces and one of the world’s most sustainable commercial precincts. Hybrid working arrangements are available and offered on 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
You will be part of the team responsible for managing collections, which can involve making up to 50 calls a day. Additionally, you'll assist with processing up to 100 receipts daily and handling the escalation of overdue debt. Other key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Develop & Maintain Relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain high level of Customer Service
- Coordinate banking transactions & maintain clear transaction records
- Follow-up to resolve unallocated or disputed items
- Generate reports & perform account reconciliations
About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position preferably within a large FMCG or Agribusiness. Other key criteria for your success is;
- Highly desirable would be proven experience in SAP
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work autonomously & to deadlines
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated process improvement experience & change management skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to challenge the status quo positively / continuous improvement mindset
