About the role

Share your passion for quality food and food ingredients as the Foods NZ Sales Manager. Based from our East Tamaki production facility and reporting to the National Manager, you’ll lead a small, expert sales team and specifically:

  • Achieve ANZ sales budgets for volume and gross margin
  • Develop and deliver agreed category plans and A3 strategies allocated to the Sales team
  • Undertake business development through cold calling, filling of opportunities pipeline, and development of leads
  • Support the sales team to build, maintain, and leverage strong strategic partnerships with customers 
  • Collaborate with Customer Services, Sales and Innovation teams across ANZ
  • Ensure successful customer and product implementations to ensure delivery to customers
  • Grow and enhance the GrainCorp brand across NZ to enable strategic customer acquisition
  • Drive and support a continuous improvement culture and outcomes within NZ Foods.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in sales / account management gained in a dairy / foods B2B environment (manufacturing ideally) along with:

  • Ability and willingness to undertake regular travel across NZ (vehicle provided)
  • Proficiency in MS Office products including Dynamics
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams that deliver results
  • Strong strategic sales planning and process
  • Strong customer centricity through demonstrated experience
  • Strong commercial analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effective across functions.

In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical. A current, valid driver’s licence is also required.
