About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager (Operations) to join our team on a 12-month+ contract. In this role, you will be a business partner to operational leaders, providing actionable insights to drive performance and strategic decision-making. The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Lead and manage a team of five finance professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
- Enhancing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Partner with senior operational leaders to deliver financial and commercial insights that influence decision-making and improve outcomes
- Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely performance reports, dashboards, budgets, and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis for capital expenditure, supporting investment decisions and strategic initiatives
About your experience
Candidates will hold a CA/CPA qualification with commercial finance and business partnering experience. Candidates will also demonstrate:
- Proven people management experience, including leading and mentoring small teams
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively
- Experience with SAP, TM1, Tableau, or Power BI
- Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production industries will be beneficial
- Familiarity with product costing or activity-based costing (ABC) implementation
In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undertake a national police check, credit check, bankruptcy check.
