About the role
We are seeking a Business System Analyst to join our team in a permanent capacity. This role will see you support and improve SuccessFactors applications and associated solutions. This role is based out of the International Towers on the harbour foreshore of Barangaroo at one of Australia’s most progressive workspaces and one of the world’s most sustainable commercial precincts. Hybrid working arrangements are available. 

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager and joining a small but dynamic team the key responsibilities of this role include; 
 

• Provide application support, continuous improvement and deliver upgrades/projects to maintain SAP SuccessFactors business applications & solutions across all modules (Recruitment Management, Onboarding, Employee Central, Learning, Performance & Goals, Talent & Succession, Compensation)
• Manage IT service management incidents, problems, service requests and enhancements
• Continuously improve and drive consistent practices, processes, procedures, governance and standards to ensure applications support consistency.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, process owners and key stakeholders to identify, analyse, document business requirements and project manage small system enhancements.
• Develop, review and govern functional specifications and documents that define the desired outcome of system enhancements/developments.
• Work with developers and external vendors to provide the most effective and efficient solution to meet business needs.
• Analyse and translate business needs into solutions and initiatives by either managing some components of large initiatives/projects or all components of small to medium sized initiatives/projects
• Co-ordinate system testing, training, user acceptance and validation testing of solutions and production changes and upgrades to applications and systems.
• Manage the transition to support of business applications delivered via projects.

 
About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with tertiary qualifications in an analytical discipline or equivalent. Ideally you will also have proven experience supporting HR business process designs and systems solutions with SAP SuccessFactors. Other key skills and experiences we are looking for are;
 

• Experience with application security: Roles design and authorisations matrix 
• Previous experience with service management tools e.g. ServiceNow and Level 2/3 Support processes
• Experience with vendor management and working with vendor resources to achieve project and application support outcomes.
• Strong ability to converse with both end-users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation
• Strong understanding of all aspects of system/software development lifecycles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including specification writing and change documentation skills
• Outstanding ability to understand, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
• Conceptual problem solving, analysis and design ability
• Ability to take a broad view of many applications and business processes
