About the role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and based at our Portland offices GrainCorp is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner, with Industrial planning experience. In this role you are responsible for:
 

  • Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule at the Port terminal
  • Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
  • Consulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
  • Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively
  • Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history
  • Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems

 


About your experience
Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with industrial experience. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position.

You should also have:
 

  • SAP maintenance planning experience is a must
  • Maintenance understanding
  • Awareness of budget constraints
