About the role
• $58.74 per hr with opportunity for overtime

Reporting to the Electrical Team Leader and based at our Numurkah site, this role will see you as a key member of the electrical team maintaining food processing equipment in a safe, reliable and efficient condition to support the site to improve reliability and increase productivity.
Other key responsibilities include;
• Completion of planned preventative maintenance and inspections,
• Attendance to electrical breakdowns, fault finding and repair of equipment in a safe and diligent manner,
• Participate in maintenance tool box meetings and safety walks,
• Contribute to electrical and automation projects to improve reliability, safety or increase productivity.
This position will be on a fortnightly rotating 8 hour shift consisting of days, afternoons and nights. This position also includes being on call for two weekends out of every 6 week cycle.
About your experience
Our successful applicant will ideally come to us with previous experience as an industrial Electrician within the manufacturing space. Other key skills and experience we are seeking include;
• 'A' Grade’ Electrician qualification for Victoria
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with automated production equipment.
• Experience with PLC systems, Rockwell Level 1&2 Training will be provided.
• Hazardous area experience would be highly regarded, however training is available for the right candidate.
• Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
