Are you an innovative and motivated Maintenance Leader looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to make an impact and create sustainable  change? 

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our National Maintenance team, based flexibly in Victoria to lead our Country and Port Maintenance functions. This role will assist in a significant continuous improvement program. It is a critical role, key responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing a long-term strategy and process within a dynamic environment
  • Creating standardisation for Planning and Scheduling across the National Maintenance team
  • Developing Planner Schedulers with diverse experiences and approaches
  • Ensuring adequate maintenance strategies for aging infrastructure and equipment 
  • Effective and efficient management of resources with budget constraints 
  • Ensuring regional teams deliver the planning and scheduling program 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a ‘one team’ approach to activities and processes
  • Managing maintenance spend in line with budget in a variable throughput environment

 

About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with demonstrated experience leading large multi-skilled teams in an industrial setting and under EBA's. Other skills and experiences we are looking for include; 
 

  • Commitment to safety
  • Demonstrated experience planning and scheduling within SAP
  • Experience mentoring and coaching Maintenance Managers/Supervisors and employees
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience within a technical or centralised function 
  • Experience championing change and with change management principles 
  • High level customer service focus
  • Strong leadership skills and qualities 
  • Proven time management skills
  • Be self-motivated & driven to succeed
  • Ability to work under pressure and be resilient
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
