About the role
Based out of our Kyneton site, this Territory Manager position will see you develop and maintain customers by promoting, developing, and maintaining sales of custom supplements to Feedlots, Stockfeed Mills, Pasture, and products through service to the Feedlots, Stockfeed Mills, Resellers, and End User Clients in line with our strategic direction. Other key responsibilities of this role will include;

 

  • Manage the effective sales growth and retention strategies across all current market segments in liquid and dry feed including full suite of GNE AN brands.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key stakeholder customers.
  • Ensure sales pipelining / forecasting and reporting are accurate.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and monthly and quarterly customer forecasts.
  • Research new potential customers, market and diversification opportunities.


About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with a proven track record in sales, business development and retention activity experience within the Agricultural space. Other key skills that will ensure your success in this role are; 
 

  • Experience in the establishment, lead and implementation of winning bid strategies for all major opportunities, owning and driving the development of unique and compelling value propositions
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Strong experience in the development and delivery of high-quality customer proposals, presentations and formalising of agreements.
  • Demonstrated hands on leadership, ability to have a degree of understanding in operational aspects of the business, including technical, logistics & asset management.
  • Confidence and experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement at all levels, including customers, suppliers and contractors.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport at all levels (internally and externally).
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including CRM software.
