About the role

The Procurement Manager reports to the Director General of our Ukraine trading office and will:

  • Manage the procurement of grain and all associated contract management within GrainCorp price specifications / models of calculation
  • Researching and monitoring local market trends to incorporate into procurement strategy and participate in development and execution of grain procurement strategy
  • Communicate grain pricing to grain producers to build the company brand and to exchange market intelligence
  • Generate and ensure close relationships with suppliers, growers and grain supply chain drivers.


About your experience

Our ideal candidate has experience in a procurement role within the grains industry as well as:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good oral and written English skills (as well as Ukrainian and/or Russian)
  • Strong customer and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Intermediate ability in Microsoft Office.

Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights. Relevant background checks may also be required.
