About the role
Reporting to the General Manager - Sustainability, this newly created role will play an important role in advocating for and implementing sustainability improvements across GrainCorp and our supply chain. You will partner with stakeholders across multiple levels within the organisation to plan, execute and measure performance improvements whilst using a combination of passion and expertise to influence internal and external stakeholders in line with GrainCorp’s sustainability ambitions.
The Sustainability Manager will be based out of the International Towers on the harbour foreshore of Barangaroo at one of Australia’s most progressive workspaces and one of the world’s most sustainable commercial precincts. It is also Australia’s first large-scale carbon-neutral community. Hybrid working arrangements are available and will involve some travel.
About your experience
Our successful Sustainability Manager will come to us with expertise and experience in sustainability related roles as well as experience in engaging with cross functional teams to achieve clear sustainability outcomes. Other key criteria includes;
• Program/portfolio management – preferably in a sustainability related context.
• Experience in agriculture and/or food sector desirable
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of GrainCorp’s material sustainability topics.
• Passionate advocate for sustainability outcomes
