About the role
 

  • 15 mth contract  - starting in mid November 
  • Salary circa $122,000 including super 
  • Hybrid role - 3 days in the office/ 2 days at home


The GrainCorp Human Resources team enhances the employee experience, developing engaged and capable employees who proudly connect with customers and communities to deliver value. In this parental leave cover contract you will:

 

  • Actively support the end-to-end delivery of all People Calendar activity (including harvest preparation, remuneration reviews, talent reviews) through system configuration, communication, education, delivery, support, issue resolution follow-up and close out
  • Assist HR Business Partners in the delivery of a range of value-add services, projects and business improvement initiatives across GrainCorp
  • Work directly with HR Business Partners, managers and employees to provide quality HR advice / solutions balancing business, commercial and HR requirements, including resolving queries, supporting and advising on HR procedures and policy, managing performance, resolving disputes and enhancing inter-team collaboration
  • Support the development of increased and purposeful HR governance within the business including reporting and participating in internal/external audits.
     

About your experience
Our ideal candidate holds a formal HR qualification with experience gained in the HR function of a large, complex commercial business. Additionally, you’ll have:
 

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Australian employment law & practice including Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships at all levels
  • High level interpersonal and communications skills and strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer literacy 
  • Previous experience with a large HRIS such as Success Factors. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
  • Proven planning and time management skills and the ability to prioritise strategic and day-to-day requirements
  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality and strong ethical values.
